Maiden United, Los Angeles’ world-class tribute to Iron Maiden, has released their new EP Agent 666, featuring a dramatic heavy-metal reimagining of Adele’s “Skyfall.” Produced by bassist Danny Knapp, the track transforms the cinematic Bond theme into a powerful, riff-driven anthem that feels right at home in the Maiden universe.
“The idea to reimagine Skyfall came from wanting to do something we hadn’t seen in the tribute space,” says founder Rich Abronson. “We love when metal bands reinterpret pop hits — it brings a fresh spark to the set.”
Knapp adds, “Skyfall already had the drama, scope, and melodic intensity of a metal epic. Pairing Iron Maiden, James Bond, and Adele — three iconic British cultural touchstones — felt like the perfect creative alignment.”
The Agent 666 EP is available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms, with a companion music video for “Skyfall” on YouTube. The release also features a duet performance of Iron Maiden’s “Murders in the Rue Morgue” with Jen Taylor Warren (founding vocalist of The Iron Maidens), plus additional live recordings.
